Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with the highest distinction) in Communications and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater and choreographing in over 2 dozen musical and stage productions including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was also able to land film and television roles, while continuing her improv studies at The Groundlings. Her distinctive voice and small stature has allowed her to play a variety of bright characters. Her most well-known character is Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party hopper in the evening as a series regular for The TV Land sitcom The Exes. As well as being the main Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she played the sassy sexpert younger sibling that is Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother who is anxious on CW No Tomorrow. She sang in soprano for many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Most recently she can be known as the dim, but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She has a private life that is quite quiet, with two children under the age of five. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant at various school events.
